Pretty medieval manuscript of the day is a sumptuous fifteenth century Italian manuscript. On these pages we see the annunciation, the nativity, a depiction of the madonna and child, and the adoration of the magi. There is so much going on here, and lots of sparkly gold and glorious blues. No mistaking it is Italian!

I was on a panel with Luis A. Ubiñas , head of the Ford Foundation, and heard him describe how running times at the Olympics plummeted after African countries started participating. I was thinking that if kids around the world could get connected to the internet and journals and each other, that even more creativity would be harnessed to solve the world’s problems.
Open access would be an important first step. I would love to see research that is publicly funded by taxes to be publicly available through neighborhood libraries and public school libraries.

Se sei un ricercatore o un professore, puoi:
- distribuire i tuoi materiali didattici su Campus ad accesso libero, anche con una licenza Creative Commons.
- depositare online tutti i tuoi manoscritti ed articoli su Acta, l’archivio istituzionale dell’Università di Bologna. Per usufruire del servizio, guarda qui.
- pubblicare su una delle nostre riviste peer reviewed ad accesso libero.
- creare una rivista o una collana di dipartimento. Contatta AlmaDL.
